Coaching Change? Yay or Nay.

So we have a "positive, get things sorted out, get the most out of the players" Head Coach now.... and he brought in an asshole to remind the players what their balls are for?

Perhaps Scotty will light a fire under Kings ass.
Dude looks like a corpse behind the bench.
Surprised Cuz hasn't tried to tag him yet...

Mine was the war he had with Mike Keane. Had good seats for that one. If I recall Brashear and Cairns had an epic battle that night.

The Roenick tilt was a good one too. Scotty "Wild Thing" Walker, just lower the head and throw 'em 'til you can't no more.

Thanks Doc, I'll look around and see if I can find it. Stock and Kypreos would have been easy pickings, a couple of boobs there, and Boudreau appears to be a straight-up guy, so no doubt he wouldn't look too kindly upon the on-air/off-air shenanigans.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 10:59 amCurm, I searched youtube and couldn't find it.Curmudgeon wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 8:58 amDoc, do you recall who the other guys were? I'd like to see this.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 8:26 pmYup, Boodie doesn't take any crap from anyone, works hard, and obviously knows his stuff.
For some reason I keep thinking about his brief stint on the Sportsnet panel.
A couple of the guys had an odd take on some facet of the game, and Boodie's expression was priceless!
Best WTF look in the biz.
Come in here and kick some butt Boodie!
I think the guys from that particular segment were two of PJ Stock/Kypreos/Hrudey.
Below is a post I made in that time frame.
I think he was only on there for a few segments... maybe after his team was eliminated?
Anyway, he kept calling the others out for their ineptitude and stupidity.
I thought "Yup, this guy really knows his stuff and he is not the least bit afraid to speak his mind!".
From 2012:
Anyway, obviously I've always had a ton of respect for "Gabby" and I'm very pleased he's on board.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sat Apr 14, 2012 4:22 pm Found this post in last night's GDT.....
Boudreau eats guys like PJ for breakfast (and craps out guys like MacLean).mathonwy wrote: Bruce Boudreau is absolutely destroying PJ.
Note to PJ. Next time you're on the air with a coach, don't talk shit or you're going to get called out on it.
Boudreau seemed to have this wide-eyed disdain for the rest of the CBC panel.
I imagine the reason is because he has to listen to them off-air.
I'm sure PJ and Hrudey are cheering LA because they predicted them to win the series.
And of course Ronny Mac is the prototypical anticanuck.
So when they go live and feign neutrality, an honest man like Boudreau is disgusted.
He is no doubt also disgusted by the panel’s attempts to stir the pot in Canuck Nation
(suggesting AV blew it by criticizing players in the press; that CS should start Game 3)
