Anthony 'Don't Jump Me Vancouver Fans' Stewart said Leaves post-game that the Simmonds fight was the turning point for the Leaves.

And now I see that Leaves fans and others on Sportsnet are running with that ball.

First of all, it was Simmonds who deserved the extra two in the scrap with Chiarot... fucking Leaves-loving refs.

Second of all, the turning point was 7 minutes later with the 3 undeserved penalties to Anderson, Suzuki, and Weber.

(the puck-over-the-glass penalty that gave Leaves a 2-man advantage was into the bench I thought)

(admittedly I was into the scotch pretty good by then, but that's the way Cuthbert called it before going silent with no replays)

Anyway, it was the 4 straight underserved PPs for the Leaves in the last half of the 2nd that swung the momentum.

I see that ever since the game ended Leaves nation has been crying about crosschecks to Matthews in front of the net.

This is a new thing for Matthews to stand in front of the net and Leavers expect him to be allowed to stand there untouched.

Anyhoo, Habs deserved a better fate I thought...
