It's a family forum MCP. I have forgotten that myself a time or two, but thankfully not this time.
Speaking of hockey's culture carriers, here's a couple of photos of the grain elevators of Kole Lind's hometown of Shaunavon.
Kole hales from a two elevator town.
Jimmy was pretty impressed by the sight of the 'C' elevator when he drove out to meet Kole and his folks. Drafting Kole was a foregone conclusion.

Solid five plus minutes of Whitney and Biz crushing Burke.
I Googled Twitter for JD Burke but that was a shit show that I do not want to do again. Something I can watch/listen to and have a laugh?
What a turd, he’s busy whiteknighting all the feminists that dislike biz. Little does he know that won’t get him laid (“kills”). Maybe losing the bolo tie, fat paunch and sideburns might help.
No. We are PC now. We import all sorts of colours to bully. Black, Indian, brown, yellow..
That's funny I spent some formative years in the 70's near Clark Park, the other side of Knight actually but cut through there many times, and they were a big thing back then. Riley Park too.damonberryman wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 11:37 am
I was in Oakalla with some Clark Park guys. They sure can play hand ball. I remember Shaker Baker, the warden of West Wing. Anyone else here recall the name? He was called Shaker due to his coming into a cell and shaking it up while looking for contraband. Not all of the hacks were bad but there was one named Goldman who would wack you with his baton if your shirt was untucked. What a fuck head.
Not sure why I am going down memory lane but I am sure some poster will tell me.

Thanks. I don't know how I missed this the first time but that was a great listen. I never listened to this podcast before but these guys seem to be having a good time and it's contagious, and of course they really know their stuff.Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 6:07 pmhttps://www.barstoolsports.com/podcast/ ... petterssonDoyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 12:52 pmReef if you google Elias Pettersson Spittin Chiclets it will take you where you need to go. Thanks for that Doyle, these cats are fucking political correctness up the arsehole with diseased penises!
Setting records for expletives per minute.
"I'm sorry I'm not sorry" ... and whatnot.
JD Burke deserved every bit of that and more!
Does Petey cuss in it?Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 12:05 pm Now I gotta listen to that. JD Burke is still bent about his boyfriend getting tuned up I see. I heard Price whining and snivelling about Petey being on that podcast yesterday. Jesus what a smarmy asshole.
They certainly owned to handball court and of course I was aware of them through my two brothers younger than me. Fill me in if you want. We lived near Victoria and Powell and my 'business' at the time was through others. Almost everyone I came up with is dead.Curmudgeon wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:03 pmThat's funny I spent some formative years in the 70's near Clark Park, the other side of Knight actually but cut through there many times, and they were a big thing back then. Victoria and Powell - The Princeton Hotel. Across the street was the CIBC bank where my Mom worked, beside the bank was a greasy spoon restaurant run by a Chinese familydamonberryman wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 12:21 pm They certainly owned to handball court and of course I was aware of them through my two brothers younger than me. I spent most of my childhood at my Grandmother who was caretaker for Mackenzie Barge and Derrick which was at the foot of Victoria Drive. I used to go place bets for her at the Princeton on the nags at X park. Back then I could roam all over the waterfront. Now I cannot even go down there without breaking the law. How times have changed. The Princeton used to have a Ladies and Escorts entrance and right beside it was [MOD EDIT] where I bought Mission Orange soda and played his baseball machine. Later my family moved to Yale Street and both my brothers went to Templeton.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:33 pmVictoria and Powell - The Princeton Hotel.
