Boeser strikes me as the type to go on streaks, then cool off, but he's always dangerous when he gets in the zone, those the types you keep long term.

He's the future T.J. Oshie.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

We all see things differently. There have been times where I've though Boeser has one of the quickest releases I've ever seen.
Just the fasted of snaps and in the net or close. Been a little more deliberate of late and much to my dismay, trying different sticks.
No question, he's over thinking the lack of goal scoring. He has his share of assists.
Makes really good O-zone passes 5 on 5 or PP.
Each of these playoff games takes on it's own identity and Green is making adjustments well to date. No time for ruffled feathers.
Doubt Brock would feel that way even if he was asked to play on the 4th line. Whatever it takes.

That's a really good comparison.

Former Flyer/Bruins Dave Poulin to young players in the playoffs for the first time.
Don't ever think to yourself there's always next year, cause you never know what the future will hold.

Leave it all on the ice.

Poulin lost 3 Stanley Cup finals, all to the Oilers.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

He will overcome and be top shelf Brock once more..
I hope so, but I doubt it's happening this playoffs. Hopefully next season. Come to think of it, we actually saw this story b4. Our old buddy Kes had a killer shot once upon a time as well. Good enuff to be used on the Ovechkin spot on the Sedin power play and give him a 40G season. After a wrist injury, that shot was never the same. Kes would still be a great 2-way guy, but never be that feared scorer again.

Man, I miss this Brock Boeser. Those goals are beauts and the puck just flies like a heat seeking missile off his stick. The Brock-Star that almost got 30G in only like 60GPs. We could really use that guy in our current run.

Watching this series really hammered home how lucky the blues were last year.

I feel like we pretty well saw the best of the blues, except for Binnington.

Also shows how key a hot goalie is to a playoff run.

Marky is my #1 reason why we are moving on to round 2 but he is still a part of the team so its not the only reason. The canucks figured out the importance of moving the puck quick. It negated that never ending washing machine of despair the blues deploy in hemming teams into their own zone. Them losing Terasenko and his shot really hurt as well.

Onto the next one we go. A much better goaltending tandem in Vegas but a less physical forecheck will be welcomed by a bruised up defense.

Anyone heard anytjing on the status's of the Tylers?

Brown Lizzy the Knights are pretty physical too. We need to get a couple more bodies back, like a couple of Tyler’s will do. Need more than a day to lick the wounds too.
