Quinn nominated for Calder as expected.

The other nominees are Cale Makar and Dominik Kubalik.

Jack Adams Award candidates are Bruce Cassidy, John Tortorella and Alain Vigneault.

Weird. I don’t recall Cassidy ever coaching the Canucks. :|

I’m rooting for Hughes, but you never know.

He has more points and more icetime. Makar has better points per game and +/-. Their corsi stats are roughly the same.
Makar has the added bonus of being Canadian and playing in the east...

Wait, Colorado is in the East? Since when? How did Trump pull off the move? Was it before or after he contemplated selling Puerto Rico?
The only HW the Canucks need

Its Makar that wins it. Ive listened to 2 different alberta radio spots on it over the past couple of days and the concensus media perception is Makar is ever so slightly the better player. They also mentioned that most other voting members of the media agree.

So lower your expectations accordingly canuckland

Yeah, the media has all but handed it to Makar, which surprises me somewhat.

But, as with the Norris, any trophy decided by the writers is suspect imo.

I guess off-ice infractions don't count?
