He lost his bid to remove the wrong man. Now Bracket will be gone. Now there will be harmony and Canuck Land will thrive. ...............More.

If by 'Abbotsford kid' you mean 'forceps baby', then you are (of course) correct.

Wonder if he ends up in Buffalo?

I could see it, I think his family owns a restaurant or some shit, and he works there in the offseason. It’ll put him closer to home.

Minnesota Wild hire Canucks draft guru Judd Brackett to lead amateur scouting. After public departure from Vancouver, the Massachusetts native was a free agent for 9 days and brings wealth of experience/solid picks to Minnesota
ironic one could say.

I'd like to see the Canucks crush the wilde in three straight.

Good for him. I think this whole thing is blown way out of proportion mostly by the urine caked species on Twitter and hfboards. That said, Brackett seems like a bright guy and it will be interesting to track how the drafting goes in Minnesota.

Also interesting that he didn't get the promotion that he seemed to be angling for with his demands for "autonomy".

I think he wanted to go back to the US. this is where he comes from (Harwich, Massachusetts).
If we got any of our star players due to him, thanks. The Wild have been under performing something fierce and there has been sufficient talent
to have done better for years.. In just one year it's the Bill and Judd show now.

The Wild have had middling talent and that’s where they’ve placed- middle of the pack. They’ve never had a legit #1 centre in their existence.

I like Minnesota’s D and their bottom three lines. They find a horse to play with Kaprizov and Fiala and they are all good. Easier said then done though. Maybe Brackett can help draft this player. :?

Are you suggesting Judd Brackett gave up his dream of "autonomy" in exchange for a job in America? :eh:

Did you realize 16 of the 24 US NHL teams are closer to Harwich, Massachusetts than St Paul, Minnesota? :drink:

I want Minnesota's drafting to suck so I can laugh even louder at said urine caked species.

Interesting he chose Minnesota, considering the powder keg situation going on there.

A lot of the wealthier folk are getting out of the Twin Cities now that they are on a path to defund the police.

Or was that the only offer he had? :drink:

I was trying to see who he replaced, sounds like its quite the dysfunctional scouting team:

Paul Fenton promotes his son PJ (with 3 years of scouting experience) to co-director of amateur scouting". Paul got fired after 14 months, but PJ stayed on. Then in May, PJ's co-director Darren Yopyk gets canned. But it looks like PJ has stayed on, according to his LinkedIn, as "co-director".

Apparently Fenton Sr's nepotism contributed to his firing, yet Jr is still there.
