Didn't Schnieds get perforated one of those games he started?Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2020 1:38 pmI said he was great in the three wins. He was absolutely putrid in three of the losses and pretty weak in game 7. Yes the offence dried up. That will happen when you’re trailing 3 or 4 buzz in the first period.
I think Lu was only terrible in 2 games, not 3..
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.

I think he only started in the Chicago series, after his panic attack in game....6?....he didn't start again.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 11:11 amDidn't Schnieds get perforated one of those games he started?Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2020 1:38 pmI said he was great in the three wins. Schneider had one start all playoffs in 2011. He had four relief appearances. In the finals, Luongo had three great starts, three garbage ones and a meh start in game 7. He was highly inconsistent in big games during his career here.

Clootch atoned for a lot of sins by beating the fuck out of Travis Green of the Boston Bruins for no good reason.

Re: Past Canuck Players
Reading an interesting article about the Gillis era. One of the 1st things he had to do was make a major decision on was whether to keep Cpt Nasi.

I even remember that year as a fan watching Nasi, I didn't think he was giving 100% and it looked like he didn't really believe in the team. It was the right move.

-Crawford (not Marc)We had to make some key decisions. First and foremost, one of them was not re-signing the captain, Markus Naslund, who [had been] Mike’s client. I had to make that presentation to Mike. I remember afterwards Alain saying to me, “That was needed. He needed to hear it from someone other than me.” It was a tough decision for our group, but it needed to happen. The twins needed to be the focus. Sometimes those big players in your organization have to move on.
