Heh heh, I already knew it, ya ol' Care Bear.

You better remove this so it can't be used against you later.

Ok, back to being all stoic and shit...

Dahlin looks unreal. Buffalo having 3 elite young dmen to build around is massive boost for a developing group.

2 x 1st O/As and 2 x 2nd O/As obviously helps....we need to actually win a lottery now. This isn't funny anymore

I just think it’s weird to coil all over an 18-20 year old kid recently drafted. It’s some bitterness for sure that’s usually reserved for Canadian kids. In this case it’s a Swede.

Chef…. Your thoughts?

Re-draft 2018

1. Dahlin
2. Hughes
3. Tkachuk
4. Svechnikov
5. Dobson
6. K’Andre Miller
7. Addison
8. Kotkaniemi
9. Hayton
10. Farabee
11. Bouchard
12. Marchenko
13. Delleandra
14. Romanov
15. Boqvist

What an absolute tire fire of a draft class after the first 6 or 7 Yikes. And to think Tciso loves his 2nd round picks? Go figure
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Can’t disagree with your top end. Too lazy to look are you just doing the first round? That’s probably the way to go as you’re always going to find a Zetterburg or Daysyuk in the late rounds.

Bouchard has taken a step forward out here. He's starting to round into a decent player on his own side of the puck now

One of the youngin's talked about a lot from this draft on this board is Nils Lundkvist by a coupla people, NL was a healthy scratch by the Dallas Stars vs the Canucks, and has been a healthy scratch sporadically this year.

Lundkvist a 28th overall pick in the 2018 draft.

'Lundkvist is half of the worst pairing by xG (with Miro Heiskanen his partner, nonetheless).'
This season, the Stars have had seven defensive pairs that have played at least 100 minutes together. Of those pairings, the worst on the team in expected goals percentage is the pairing of Lundkvist and Heiskanen, at 46. 7 percent in 235 minutes.

What makes it particularly telling on Lundkvist is that the top two pairings on the team this season in that category are Heiskanen and Colin Miller and then Heiskanen and Suter (the only other pairing Lundkvist has played at least 100 minutes on is with Suter, which is third-worst at 48.8 percent, barely better than second-worst of Suter and Miller at 48.5 percent).

Of every defenseman Heiskanen has played at least 230 minutes with in a season, the pairing with Lundkvist is basically tied with Roman Polak ( 46.8 percent) in 2018-19 for lowest in expected goals percentage.
Some of later round gems this draft aka the anomalies, Yegor Sharangovich (5th round, 141st overall) 191gp, 52g, 51a, 103pts for the NJD.

Blackhawks Philipp Kurashev, 4th round 120th overall, 62 points in 186 games.

Sean Durzi - 52nd oa, 2nd rounder, a steal by Blake got from the leaves.

The dmen with more points than Lundkvist (28th oa),
Fehervary (46th oa), Addison (53rd oa), Romanov (38th oa), T. Smith (17th oa), Sandin (29th oa), Durzi, Miller (22nd oa), and of course the high picks in Dahlin, Hughes, Boqvist, Bouchard, Dobson.

And definitely not Yzerman's finest drafting.
6th overall Zadina.
30th overall Joe Veleno.
33rd overall Jonatan Berggren.
36th overall J. McIsaac.
67th overall Alec Regula.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Is this the same guy people were saying we should have traded Miller for?
