As a I said the standards are so low for this team. After the twins sweaters are rightfully retired there will be what 6 guys up there? There should only be three. Period.
Who's the 3rd?

Meh... they're like Duran Duran - they were a great show in their prime, and playing them back is nice and nostalgic but you wouldn't want to see them on a comeback tour. Some things are best left there.

The green men should get a spot (like a big screen) just below the ring of honour. The screen just loops videos of all the stupid shitnthey did...

Or perhaps put the screen up on the wall, top row behind the Larschiders... and just let it loop...

Does anyone else remember Gino Odjick mugging Eric Lindros for no reason? I used to go to a lot of games back then and I’m pretty sure I was there. Scott Waker beat the shit out of a Flyer on the same shift I think. That was pretty much as bad as what Bertuzzi did to Moore. Lindros had a spine, Moore not so much......

‘Twas a different game :|

Everyone is avoiding the elephant in the room - Patrik Sundström! :look:
#17 is already hoisted in his honour at the A3 Arena in Umeå, when will it happen in Vancouver? :eh:

I mean, how many former Canuck players hold a legitimate NHL record?

These are all I can come up with:

Most games, including playoffs: Mark Messier, 1,992
Most points, one playoff game: Patrik Sundstrom (April 22, 1988) and Mario Lemieux (April 25, 1989), 8
Most power-play goals, one playoff season: Mike Bossy, (1981), and Cam Neely, (1991), 9
Most shorthanded goals, career playoffs: Mark Messier, 14
Most overtime assists, career: Henrik Sedin, 23

And frankly, Messier's and Hank's records come from being very good players with very long careers, although a most shorthanded goal record of course is something to be proud of.
Still. The most points in one playoff game is a feat that inspires awe. You think it would be Gretzky. But it's not.
It's Patrik Sundström. :drink:
