We/everyone all wanted Eriksson gone, but the realists (like me ) realized he at least had PK ability compared to the expendables (barto/goldy whom I thought would fight for the last spot) and with an unmovable contract he could stick it out.

While Ferland and Miller - the new additions - never had any PK minutes, they are top 6 wingers to help the scorers out get more points.

I thought Gaudette would make it but not by Oct/Nov callup, but most didn't realize he'd absolutely tear it up in preseason with an absolutely monster performance to earn a spot over the vets.

To me Eriksson/Leivo/Motte were expendable, but forgot about Baertschi's injuries/concussion issues. Goldy has spurts of talent, but nothing else. So with that Leivo just snuck onto the team over Barto.

The team lacked PK'ers why I see how Eriksson and Schaller made the squad as they both had PK minutes last season.

Hey man, all I know is it's illogical to make the quantum leap from "Sutter is still here" to "therefore he's untradeable".
