Add in Hischier injured, J Hughes scoreless and Subban playing bad, it's a rough start for Jersey.

If they pulled that, they might even have room to resign Taylor, just need to find a home for Sutter probably.

Subban has had a fair bit better career than Myers. He had a down year last year with injuries. But it’s cute to watch someone get so excited after a handful of games and then bring out his little tools to build his strawmen.

Fans wanted nothing to do with Myers at 7x7 and rightfully so. The deal he got isn’t that bad and that’s what most people said. Most if not all people liked the target of Miller but thought the acquisition cost was steep. If it turns out to be a top 5 or 8 pick it was too high. At the moment most people are fine with it I would think.

I was more responding to Dickie. He’s spraying his little dinky about Myers after four games etc.

Subban is a lot better than Phaneuf ever was and he had a lot longer peak. 9-10 years vs four years. Not a great comparison imho. Furthermore that was Subbans first bad year and he also missed 20 games.

I think the Devils are going to gas that coach pretty smartly myself.
