I used to frequent this board back in the day -- I have some questions

LIve on the Island and have been a season ticket holder for years, making the trek to the big city on game days....

There were times when I was ready to let my membership go because I was getting tired of spending the time and money to watch a bunch of no shows...

I watch the games now for the entertainment value and for the past couple of seasons the entertainment value has gotten better and better...

The no shows are becoming a thing of the past and last year was one of the funnest years I've had watching the Canucks...Reminded me of those mid 90's teams which never quit on a game...

Pretty stoked for this year...

That is really a true fan. Devotion plus. I salute you, I know that is not easy. Guess you get use to it but wow.

In 1994, I was, as usual, it the States doing military and airshow / warbird,/ photography but with the help of a couple of friends,
and five connecting flights, I got home to Vancouver to be, and drink, with my best friends just to see the Canucks lose game 7 in New York.
Was back in San Diego by 1;30 the next day. with the hungover depressed blues.

I think it was you, Doc, who initially brought attention to the 'sters' of the board. You could convert you know. Docster? Truth is, I couldnt think of any 'handles' when i first registered onto Central back in 2004 or so. I think John Lovitz on SNL used to do a skit on the sters. I was thinking about utilizing 'my aunt mary's aerolas', but there was already a body part being alluded to re: Uncle Dans Leg, and i didnt want to muddy the poster waters.
