Other teams keep calling about Jake Virtanen.
I think the only way I move Jake is if he's packaged with Loui Eriksson with no retention, where we get a couple picks in return.
Example:
Florida sent Dave Bolland and Lawson Crouse, the 11th overall pick in the 2015 Draft, to the Coyotes for a second and third round pick.

Well no doubt the Canucks would be getting calls on Jake. He's a steal. Gotta be better options than throwing him away.
Thing is, I bet he'll sign another team friendly contract with the Canucks even if his game has grown. He wants to stay here.
Baertschi is the best choice or Tanev. Barry said there that everyone's condeding with Erkswoon you'd have to take on a bad contract
to move him. For Gawd's sake he was giggling about it.
Ya, Barry is a powerhouse agent. QE; How does it look when one of his clients, who he negotiated an over priced contract for, is playing
out his career in the minors cause he sucks.

Yeah I kinda want to see what Virtanen could do in the playoffs before the team considers moving him.
Unless some team like buffalo wants to move Risto for JV + Sutter/Tanev type of deal.

@ Micky, I don’t want to trade Jake Virtanen either. But you’re a guy who wants to make the playoffs badly next year. So why the hell would you trade your best RH D man in Chris Tanev?
Explore trading Mike Di Pietro or Olli Juolevi with Eriksson if they are going to trade him. I’d try to deal Sven Baertschi but I think those concussions may scare teams.

Ya, I know I don't give Chris enough credit but the team does better when he's on his game then he's gone.
Ur right on the other thread about at least one more D that would avoid that situation. Bieaga works his ass off but makes mistakes and does too
much after he's been around more than 2 or 3 games.

Can we just trade Baertschi already, I'd take future considerations at this point.

I would think it looks like he will be adding a bunch more clients to his portfolio...likely from other scrubs looking to cash in
