Ya, besides I am so done with trading for defensemen with Florida.

Jovanovski, Krajicek, Ballard, Gudbranson, Pysyk.

We could do with a young Jovo right about now. big-time. Our defense looks better than last year but it aint got dynasty written on it, yet.
The hockey Gods could be nice and grant us a favor by making Juolevi and Woo f**king awesome within two years.
I don't see the point in re-signing Stecher. He's not been growing his game and has a muffin for a shot. I thought he'd work harder to become
more then the sum of his parts but nah. Not happening.
Benn is what he is and it's an upgrade then what we've had in the 5/6 slot.
We got Edler for two years with a very slight chance for a third if he stays in great shape but me thinks he's ready to call it a career in 2.
Myers should be real good for at least three to four. Tanev, ??????????????????????????????????????????????
Then there's superboy Quinn. He has to be THE one to build around.
Don't ya'll think he needs to be on the first unit power-play? Doesn't Newell run the PP? ya.

The puck has always been a hot potato for StechThe Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 8:17 pm Stretchers been juggling the puck this year...fighting it. He gets better with more reps but we have no time for his fumbles and theres 5 or 6 better than him.
That said pass on the pysser. The gains he brings arent worth another big contract unless they take money back...which they dont want.

Long overdue for the lil Troian to have his horse reshod.

Stecher reminds me of a rat being cornered in the kitchen by the inhabitants of the house holding sticks, trying to beat it to death before it can escape back to its hole.

But in this scenario we'd be expecting absolutely nothing from Pysyk...

I would trade Leivo for Baertschi, who's with me?
Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO
Keep Baertschi in Utica for most of the season, keep him healthy for the playoff run, plus I'd like to see what Leivo can do for a full season here.

I like Leivo; I'd take him over Baercheese. Leivo has struggled with the puck this season, but scored a nice one on that deflection from BoHo. I was surprised the Nucks put Baer on waivers and a bit surprised he cleared. In any case, Baercheese and Golds are nice insurance for us if any forwards go down with injuries. Maybe they fetch something on TDD for a team looking for scoring depth. If Baer comes up, I think it comes at the expense of Eriksson /Schaller, although Schaller seems to be pretty good on the 4th line + PK thus far.
