Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I’d do it I doubt L.A. does it unless a pick or prospect is going with the added cap hit (I don’t know if L.A. is looking for budget cost contracts though). The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:52 am How about...

We gain cap space moving LEs 6 plus SBs 2.75 and give a former top level scorer one last crack with our skilled talent. Neither of our 2 are going to rekindle their lost touch here so why not?Topper wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:56 amwhy? The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:52 am How about...

Theyre about to terminate that contract and eat 6.25 for 2 more years with zero to show for it on the ice. This might give them a chance to get something out of their investment...you never knowRichardstroker69 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:02 amI’d do it I doubt L.A. does it unless a pick or prospect is going with the added cap hit (I don’t know if L.A. is looking for budget cost contracts though). The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:52 am How about...

That would save money for 21/22 but it would really not look good. Kovalchuk will never get his game back now, not even in Russia. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:52 am How about...

If LE retires after this year it saves the club 12 million in cap, 6 per. But he would still be walking away from 8 and I doubt he will.
I hate it but he has to play well enough for us to even be considered in a package deal of any kind.
Yet every game, I don't want to see him on the roster sheet.

Loui is probably completely done and Kovy is absolutely completely done
... therefore LA would never go for a Loui-for-Kovy swap.

Nucks that could garner interest if the team continues to slip.
- Marky, Tan-man, Leivo, Ferkland.
- Surprised they put Ferkland on that list as he has shown that he's unable to stay healthy. Strange to see a guy like Tan-man remain healthy, while Ferkland can't avoid it.

First of all that mickey mouse site is merely reporting solely on what Friedman said in his latest 31 Thoughts article.
Second of all they got it wrong.
Friedman was speculating on which players the Canucks might try to deal at the deadline if they are out of the playoff race.
So of course he pointed out UFAs Markstrom, Tanev, and Leivo... duh.
But Friedman did NOT say teams might be interested Ferland!
Lol, mickey mouse site is completely misquoting Friedman!
Seriously Todd, no offense bud, but you link to some of the shittiest sites on the internet...

In that case just offer them Loui straight up. Pretty much a wash capwise, Kovalchuk would either play top-6 or not at all. No risk involved for us so long as Eriksson is willing to waive. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:07 amTheyre about to terminate that contract and eat 6.25 for 2 more years with zero to show for it on the ice. The only reason for Jimbo not to at least kick the tires on this is if Loui won't waive his NTC for LA, or if he is convinced that Kovalchuk is a cancer in the room that Loui is not.
Otherwise you have a couple of teams that could be making a cap neutral move hoping that a change of scenery for both players pays off.
I believe they both have the same number of years left too, no?

Ok then Elmer. Go baffle Kovy into thinking we're a contender and trade Loui to LA for a pick.Strangelove wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 2:22 pmKovy said he is now willing to sign with a contender for league minimum.Mëds wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 2:17 pmWell shit. How about Loui and Baertschi to the Devils for PK?
Replacing a press box and a farm player with a ... Top-4 dman?
It's somewhat risky, given PK's sudden drop-off this year, but if he is dealing with an injury it's easier to LTIR one player than 2.
Maybe throw in Stecher, then the right side is Tanev-Myers-Subban, Fantenberg the spare and Rafferty on the farm.
