2 years, $2 million per for Benn. Very nice deal by Jimbo, even less money than I thought he would get.

Suggested he plays real well, much better, on the right side. That was the selling point.

Stecher wont be inundated with ice time now.

He does play the right side more than the left, so we are left with too many right side D. Can’t play all of Tanev, Myers, Stecher and Benn at the same time.

It’s been time for a while now. Given his contract is up at the end of this year and Jimbo likely won’t be re-signing him for $5 million per he’s a good trade candidate. RHD are always in high demand.

Panarin to the Rangers. That’s one heck of a rebuild going on, new #1 dman and new #1 winger along with a ton of prospects and a good cap situation means they will be contenders for years to come.

To think it only took 5 years to gain a ton of assets and become a contender again. Amazing what can be done when you commit to rebuilding.

Tanev (Brandon) to the Pens for either 5 or 6 years. Now that’s an awful contract regardless of the dollar amount, that much term is insane for a 3rd/4th liner.

Thanks to winning the draft lottery, Rangers are pulling the pin on their rebuild after 2 years.

Nucks sign Oscar Fantenburg. There’s the depth D mentioned. He’s not waiver eligible so I assume it’s a Nucks signing not for Utica.

Must be some trades to come because there are a ton of bodies both at forward and D.
