This roster could easily change in the next 48 hrs. For all anyone knows they may have a trade or two lined up and sometimes these things are easier and more convenient to complete after waivers is finished.
I just hate seeing Louie back to start the season here. I’m hopeful he finishes it somewhere else

I don't love the message it sends to the players: "if you appear to be on the way down or out due to injuries sustained while playing for us, we will dump you".

It shouldn’t be a response to St. Louis winning the cup, it should be a response to us getting our shit pushed in on to regular of a basis the last 3 years.Cherry Picker wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 10:34 am I'm surprised by Baer. Didn't see that coming with Eriksson and Schaller still around. My third line took a hit.
Anyone know if Sutter or Gaudette is on the wing at practice?
Glad Gaudette made the team. He earned it.
The Canucks are going to have a lot more size on the team this year. That may be a response to St. Louis winning the cup.

I watched ho sang live, he’s definitely better than Goldie, guy has elite wheels.micky107 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:18 am The two being talked about if the Canucks are making any pick-ups are Josh Ho-Sang and Luke Schenn.
Goldobin is better than Ho-Sang. yuck
We do not need Luke either. Do not forget; It's not just Fantenburg, it's Brogan Rafferty too. I would have like to see a couple more games from him.
Hope Trent Cull has his shit together plans in order for a step better in the development this year.
Re: Canucks News n Notes 2019-2020
I was worried about the concussion, so-called worries but he looked way better this camp. Fast, more confidence, etc.
If not scooped, he'll be back if the team can shed more cap. spitballin

Agree. We'd rather keep air thieves on the roster than those who work hard but who have injury issues.

You must have caught him on a good night. Would be a terrible signing. Simply, yuck.Richardstroker69 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:27 amI watched ho sang live, he’s definitely better than Goldie, guy has elite wheels.micky107 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:18 am The two being talked about if the Canucks are making any pick-ups are Josh Ho-Sang and Luke Schenn.

Schenn would be welcome back in Van I'd say. He played some solid minutes for us

Yup he showed a lot of pushback in the time he was here - which no one else seems to exhibit (wasn't that supposed to be a large part of the Schaller signing). The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:32 am Schenn would be welcome back in Van I'd say. He played some solid minutes for us
Baertschi - 23 goals last 79 games
Air Thief - 11 goals last 81 games
Don't worry though.
We don't need goals, just little things.....
[Edit: Also of note - have we had a large enough sample size to prove that Pearson is going to succeed in his position (one which Baertschi has proven he can succeed at - alongside Bo)?]

This is a good signing. We will see him this year. (well, I mean---I hope not---but (IF) there happens to be injuries,).

I agree. He may not skate like the wind but our crease is a more dangerous place with him patrolling it.The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:32 am Schenn would be welcome back in Van I'd say. He played some solid minutes for us

Rafferty doesn't clear the crease like Luke Schenn.micky107 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:39 amWe got Brogan! http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdis ... pid=165340The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:32 am Schenn would be welcome back in Van I'd say. He played some solid minutes for us

He isn’t ready yet. One day he might be, but the “kid” is 24. Pretty steep learning curve he will have to overcome at this point.micky107 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:39 amWe got Brogan! http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdis ... pid=165340The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 11:32 am Schenn would be welcome back in Van I'd say.
