Vancouver is 8th in the league at shots allowed on goal....in the slums with NJ, leaves, Redwings, NYR, Sens and Hawks.

Shockingly AZ is worse with the Jets and Flames with us.

So it's either a personnel problem or coaching problem at how many shots this team allows on net, which won't bode well in the playoffs.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

It looks more like they are using the Buffalo Model (on the verge of 8 lottery picks in a row)

The Senators have made the playoffs in 4 of the last 8 seasons. Wake up.

I had an explanation for this but apparently it wasn't acceptable. Double standards are rampant...

Ask him why teams like Boston are able to get their 13th forward and 7th Dmen rotated in the line-up quite consistently, but he hardly ever changes the line-up except for injuries.

Da guys in da press box are da backups. For a guy who played in the show fairly recently he coaches like a guy from the 1940s. Does he think he’s Punch Imlach or John Brophy?

I dunno, but when he looks in the mirror these days he might think he's Ken Hitchcock. :drink:

Patience, they (Ottawa) are in the early stages of the Buffalo model. The Sabres seem to be on the verge of getting their 2nd 7th overall in a row. 8 drafts in a row where they have drafted in the top 8. It’s the only way to fly

They are three seasons removed from being in the Conference Finals. They have a long way to go to be Buffalo. With the pieces in the system now and the fact they have 7 top 60 picks in a loaded draft I like their chances of climbing out of this in a couple years. They already have the stud on D, need one in the middle. There’s a decent chance they walk out of this draft with maybe Byfield and Drysdale.

“They already have there stud on defence”

Quinn Hughes - 8 goals 43 assists 51 points
Thomas Chabot - 6 goals 29 assists 35 points

If he’s a stud then the super rookie Hughes must be a Super Stud”

“And the Red Wings select Filip Zadina” - the Great Kenny Holland

To be honest I’m only liking Chabot and Tkachuk. Not seeing much else there that’s make Ole Chef go “yippee Kay yay these Senators are gonna be a gooder!”

I see at least 7 more non playoff seasons out of the Sens. They will supplant the Sabres as the next decades Tankists
