How often are scrawny little kids shooting well over 100 mph slappers like that anyway? OV, as the last fwd to shoot in that contest has a big cannon but hes another 220 lb gorilla.

Pettersson is a freak of nature it seems

What other NHLer skates sub 14 seconds (2019) and shoots plus 100 mph (2020) besides Petey?
OV maybe, anyone else?
He’s like an olympic decathlete if there were only these two hockey related events :)

Gatorade NHL Shooting Stars

Ten players -- eight NHL All-Stars, and one American Elite Women's All-Star team member and one Canadian Elite Women's All-Star team member -- will compete in the Gatorade NHL Shooting Stars. Players from the American and Canadian Elite Women's All-Star teams will be selected by social media vote. Players will be positioned on an elevated platform behind the goal, approximately 30 feet above the ice surface, where they will shoot pucks at a variety of targets located on the ice, with each target possessing different point values.
WTF? Seriously?
Jesus what a bush league gimmick. Then again it is the NHL which is a cunt hair in front of the CFL when it comes to marketing and promoting their product
They're worse. The CFL has always been a meat and potatoes type league and has made no bones about it. They can never be the NFL because Canada doesn't have the population, money, the tv exposure and feeder system the USA does. The NHL is suppose to be the best ice hockey league in the world and a supposed big league player alongside the NFL, NBA and MLB. If one were to compare great cities to sports leagues, the NHL would be Mogadishu.

Looks like it's pretty certain that the Tryamkinsaurus will be back in the NHL next season. :D

Mogadishu?

You wouldn’t cut it a little more slack than that?

You wouldn’t bump it up a notch to Toronto ?

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Bersnoozi finally comes up with a nickname for a player that makes me chuckle.

Best quote from the article......

"The team and coaching staff is much different from when Nikita was last in Vancouver and we view that very positively.

If that's not a gut shot aimed at Twitchy Willie I don't know what is.
