Yeah, ok. Imagining a pairing of the two is making shit up.
They only had one D selected. So it would be pretty easy to imagine having 3 forwards out there with no D.
Maybe they'll imagine having the women out there with the men too.

Good point! And probably (possibly)-two D for the 4 on 3 PP.The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 12:42 pmDont they ice 2 D during the pk in an all star game?

Interesting to see and hear some coaching in their practice @ the NHL lvl. Baumer did som prep for Tampa, too bad it didn't really work.

My bad, didn't see it there. *hehe* It was interesting, but at the same time, I was wondering this is NHL coaching? Yo Stech, instead of sticking your butt on to the guy, lift his stick. Stech seems like he has never heard it b4 and it's a major revelation to him. These guys don't learn this stuff in minor hockey when they're kids and stuff? Yo Beags, Point likes to feed Kucherov really quick and bam, the shot comes in a flash. Ummm, yeah. I think most media guys and casual fans would know Kucherov is their big shooter and u gotta cover his lane.Micky wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 9:54 pm I thought it was interesting too. On a similar note, I do enjoy listening to guys like Bieksa & G.Valk when they analyze and break down plays during the game.

If you somehow get Sutter and Ferland back without anyone else getting hurt, who comes out? Two guys gotta sit.
Schaller
Beagle?
Louis?
They need Motte’s speed.
Knowing Willie Green he will pull out Virtanen and Gaudette

I give Gaudette a break. His offense has dropped off and might need the rest. I would plonk Sutter in there for a game or 2 til hes broken again then back to the kid.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:34 am If you somehow get Sutter and Ferland back without anyone else getting hurt, who comes out? Re: Canucks News n Notes 2019-2020
Motte's speed is providing no value when he can't get out of his own end. He's been brutal, as has the 4th line. The obvious choice is for Motte and Schaller to sit and re-make the 4th line. At the start of the year, before injuries, the 4th line was excellent, but its been a total suck for the last two months.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:34 am If you somehow get Sutter and Ferland back without anyone else getting hurt, who comes out? I could listen to this argument. It’s a hell of a lot better Yudell and his idea of parking GaudetteESQ wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 11:08 amMotte's speed is providing no value when he can't get out of his own end. At his worst he looks better than the entire 4th line and Louis. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 12:01 pmfor a game or 2 I said. Do you think hes looked his best the past few?
