Doyle is Vince Scully

Vince for his Sicilian roots (Vincenzo)

and Scully for his hedged in around the perimeter bald spot (Skull-y)

He went by Vin Scully...not Vince. Best baseball PBP announcer ever.

Maybe... but I think he has decent hair for a guy who’s 92.

The draft lottery is the 26th
So is this lottery just for the bottom 7 teams?

No details released, other than saying Detroit will get the 1OA or 2OA. Teams cannot move up more than 4 spots. But other than that not much by way of detail. Unless they suspect the elimination round will be over by then?

That seems unlikely. It will at least a moth to get this thing off the ground. I’m assuming there might be a second lottery or some type of re-seeding after the play in round is complete. From everything I’ve heard on the radio or tv, McKenzie, Lebrun etc, is that the playoffs won’t begin until they are down to 16 teams.

Well, they better get moving if they want to be the only sport on TV during the lockdown!

NBA says it is talking with Disney about resuming season

The NBA is in talks with The Walt Disney Company on a single-site scenario for a resumption of play in Central Florida in late July, the clearest sign yet that the league believes the season can continue amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The National Basketball Players Association is also part of the talks with Disney, the league said Saturday. Games would be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, a massive campus on the Disney property near Orlando.

NBA spokesman Mike Bass said the conversations were still “exploratory,” and that the Disney site would be used for practices and housing as well.
