Marchand is such a good player
Another good pace to this game. Bottle it up and sell it. NHL marketing rivals the CFL.

Potvin was viscous. I was probably eight years old when he smoked Derlago. We had seasons tickets or split them for about seven or eight years... late 70s to mid 80s. I don’t think Billy could ever wheel the same after that. He started out great along with three other good youngsters in Smyl, Gradin and Fraser but about ten games into his careeer he got plastered.micky107 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2019 1:36 pmDid you ever hear how that lowBlob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2019 10:14 am Billy D’s cousin is a good friend of mine. Hell of an athlete in his own right. He confirms that Billy was a boozer that smoked like a chimney but what a talent! He still had some 30 and 40 goal seasons playing on one knee. Denis Potvin garbage hit him and shredded his knee. Dirty POS. As good as the Islanders team was back in the day they were a team of dirty cunts. I loved watching Smyl piledrive Nystroms head into the ice in 82.
bridge hip check from DP effected him other that the knee injury itself.
I was at that game with my parents, I had flown in from where I was playing in the US to go to my Grand dad's funeral.
Billy didn't see it coming. A lot of the fans did though. There was a total hush. When Potvin made contact you could hear
his shin pad snap.

Binnington has to stop that second goal.
Amazing how many 2nd and 3rd round picks are impact players in this round. Some folks like to push a narrative that these picks are essentially useless.

The Blues exorcises 50 years of seeing Bobby Orr flying through the air.

Petro has been such a great D man for so long. Can’t see him getting to UFA next summer.
How about O’Reilly? Finally gets to play on a decent team. What a great trade! Many people thought the Blues got hosed..... yeah,no.

Boston is now in sole possession of the record for most Stanley Cup Final losses.

I hope Maroon and Kane kiss the ring every time they see Marchand.
