I'd love to watch as Jimbro took Gullible Blob to the cleaners in a poker game!

But if he had the time, Blob would leave wearing nothing but a barrel with suspenders.

Nope, he's in a walking boot till next wednesday, so he likely plays that night vs the Sens or the Flames on the 23rd.
I hope everyone realizes the walking boot is bullshit.

Jimbro wants to amplify that bruise to ridiculous degrees as an excuse to keep Hughes' games at 9 or less.

All GMs lie most of the time, Jimmy is just better than most at hiding it.

I think we all saw that video of Hughes carrying his hockey bag and sticks without a limp.

Come on people, wise up!

He was also lying like a blob when he said he won't be pursuing UFAs this summer...
So Jimbro somehow intercepts the MRI report, doctors the results with photoshoop and reprints it on his inkjet printer, convinces Q and the Hughes clan that the kid needs a walking boot. Then it'll be declared that the "injury" is ahead of schedule just in time for the game against the Sens. QH will end up playing the remaining 9 games in total.

Goddamn Genius!

Not at all.

He simply tells the docs that he doesn't want Hughes playing until he's 100%.

Tells 'em to give the kid a walking boot if there is any chance in the world of that helping at all.

(Hughes clan won't argue if the docs tell them it might get him into the lineup sooner)

C'mon, Hughes played in that last game, how bad could it be!

And like I said, we saw the vid...

The HGs love us, they know "no pain, no gain".

We'll have a Cup and be the finest hockey fans in the world by the time they're done.

Sure the GillisBros will be dead and gone, but you know what they say about omelettes and eggs.

I find Hank’s story much more compelling.

But I envision JB simultaneously playing chess with a grandmaster over the phone while completing his clandestine trickery.

Jim's definitely a multitasker, DC4.

He's probably also scouting on the iPad... after Weisbrod turns it on for him.

So there’s no way he’s in tonight ?

Looking forward to seeing him play hopefully Thursday. Wish they would have also called up MacEwan if Kotte is done but it is what it is I guess. They gave him a taste and hopefully he earns a job next season.

I’m hopeful this three or four games acts as a springboard for Hughes similar to Gaudette and of course Boeser.
