With 2 years left on a 15 team modified NTC, just turned 30, excellent PK’er, a centre with a respected 200’ game, good in the room, only making $4.3 Million per, Sutter is very a tradeable asset. Very!

Eriksson is a challenge

Yeahno, Sutter has good decent value if he proves healthy.

Eriksson will require a sweetener attached though...
If he is healthy and producing, sure they might be able to flog him for a pick. Those are big ifs though. I just think they need a third line centre that can feed Virtanen and who ever else is on that line. Maybe it’s Gaudette but maybe he isn’t quite ready yet. Sutter has always been a lousy distributor but he is a decent defensive player and penalty killer. Problem is Beagle is also a black hole offensively.

Oh I agree the time has come to trade Sutter, I just think teams will want to make sure he's fully recovered first.

There's no rush anyway, let him play on Gaudette's wing and mentor him a bit more...

Probably correct. I just hope Gaudette comes in and grabs the bull by the horns. Would be nice to finally have some young depth that force a trade of a veteran or two.

Eriksson is a whole other kettle of fish. I can’t see Green or Benning being happy with the way Louie conducted himself this spring and for the entire time he’s been here for that matter.

Sutter is about ten times more tradable then LE. Well noted I'm not a big Sutter fan but he isn't a flesh eating virus like Eriksson is.
The amount of sweetener it will take to move that enigma would be destructive, but keeping him is destructive. Damn.
ANY plan to move him means he plays with the big club.
Sure; I'd love to bury him in the minors. The second tier minors. but will Aqua play that out?
It's like poker now.
What are the odds of him becoming so frustrated, so embarrassed in the minors, he retires from the NHL and goes back to Sweden?

Watch; He'll try hard at camp and take his spot on the third or fourth line all year and get 18 points.
Ya,

Re participant, Jake Virtanen;
With the upcoming NHL season fast approaching, Vancouver Canucks forward Jake Virtanen says he's ready to step up his game.

Over the last couple of weeks, Virtanen and other local NHL players have been playing in a summer league called the "boys of summer."

"We have a really good group of players out here to get ready for the season, its high tempo and intense, it gets us ready for camp," said Virtanen in an interview Wednesday.
