So exciting to have Boeser back to his office, having that lethal shot and underrated playmaking ability will be boon to the offense and powerplay.
Whatever was fucked up on his body from the clusterfucking is obviously still an issue. Hasnt been the same player since. He used to be triple as quick
Ya, maybe mum's the word on the whole damn thing. Still back probs wouldn't be a shocker at all.
Way back when Edler was young, he waited over a year to finally have that major back surgery.
24 years old and he was having to ice it 2 hours before and until every game.

He was never really that quick. Not sure who you're thinking of UDL. He's had a rough patch of injuries that has fucked up his training schedule. You can just tell he is not up to pace. Breath a little, give him some time.
Juolevi is going through the same shit - back surgery in the summer, now the knee. "Stick a fork in him, HE"S DONE!"
Man alive, I thought you cats were chronic? Chill the fuck out.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
I don't thing Boeser was triple quick.. just rusty. Give him 10-15 games to get back up to speed. Everyone else in the league played 20 games last year, trained hard all summer, and played almost 30 since..
He has only played 1/2 as many games, nothing in the summer (Da Beauty League isn't true training) and just came back.
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.
No he wasnt fast, but he was quick. He had agility that is nowhere to be seen yet since the recovery in my opinion.
I assure you I'm quite chill. I may be baked but i can see what i see. The guy wont be right til probably next fall.
Sign him long term now while his value is reasonable rather than once he finishes recovering and starts lighting it up. Remember this cat wasnt just good...he was matthews good. He was emerging as one of the better young players in the league. This version isnt the same at all. Hes barely moving out there

Dude, stop sipping Bubbles Tea. The sun will rise again.

The Dude is like the benning gestapo. If he senses anything remotely close to not towing the party line he accuses someone of being jewish and to get on the train to the "work camp"

Get in zee oven
He probably signed a hockey card for the Dude back in 1989. Bounced him on his knee and winked at him while torquing on a flask at a Canucks fundraiser in the Downtown Eastside.
“I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”

Yeah Boeser probably needs a full offseason in the summer to work on his cardio/speed, (his upper muscle strength is fine, & strengthen the groin muscles. In any case this bodes well for a bridge contract or as SL wants the 6-8 yr contract at $6.5M ish.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

The more thought I give this, the more I think that Horvat money would be a perfect solution for Brock and the team!!!
It was clearly stated that this would not be discussed til the end of the season "BUT" circumstances, IMO, have changed, no?
I had recently heard on the radio that a trip to the Detroit specialist often denoted something along the lines of the most advanced evaluations,
when a player is actually, "nearing" a comeback.

I think the "no timetable for his return" is a given under concussion protocol, since a player can go backwards to the previous stage at any time. Even when participating in full practice he could experience symptoms again and go back to skating only or no practice at all, at least that's my admittedly limited understanding of the protocol.
Benning also says Sven Baertschi has returned from seeing concussion specialist & continues to go through protocol. He is starting to skate again. No timeline on return.
#Canucks prospect Olli Juolevi expected out for next 2-3 weeks with knee injury. Doesn’t require surgery.
