I like what I hear on Dach but if the Canucks are drafting him something eventually will have to happen for Bo because most certainly Pettersson isn’t going anywhere. You could be looking at a trade similar to Johanson for Jones regarding trading Bo?

RWs Kakko or Podkozlin are probably the more sensible choices.

If your making reference to having too many at the center position;
#1, I personally think these days, that's fine.
But; I can see we do miss the experience of Brandon Sutter and from what I've been reading, so do others.
However; From my rusty futon, I would still think about moving him. Why? His attendance, moving forward, is projecting to be
at least as bad as Tanev's, if not worse. The fact he's a specialist in aspects of the game, exasperates the team's woes when he's absent.
Running Horvat into the ground for instance.
Being shitty at face-offs, ie, Gaudette, Petterson and anyone else or "NEW" is ON THE COACHING STAFF.
He probably has been, maybe Bo has been trying, dunno.
We were winning games earlier even with an ICK face-off %. IMO, that was because we had SWAGGER! But it's gone now, mmmmm :?:

If Dach happens to be available to us, wow, maybe Linden with an edge.
Actually, Linden had an edge in 88/89. Almost beat Calgary all by himself.

Dach can play wing and really so can Pettey if needed. I wouldn't pass over this kid if we have the chance!

Pettersson is staying centre, the kid is excellent at both ends of the rink which is what you want in a centre and what I hear on Dach is that’s he is your classic prototypical big centre, haven’t heard boo on him playing centre

If you click their mock draft link at the top they think we will draft Alex Turcotte with Dach right after. All things being equal I would take the Prairie kid I guess.

Yeah you seen the Canucks centers go down to injury every year causing havoc and work overload on every center avail these past few years, so if you can add a big center/winger with potential elite hands you should go for it...but yeah if he's the perceived BPA of course at our pick. But having a Dach type he could start on the 3rd line and move around the lineup to find a fit and play a top 9 center IF needed, that'd be nice. 2019

DAHLEN - PETTERSSON - BOESER
GOLDOBIN - HORVAT - VIRTANEN
LEIVO - SUTTER - DACH

Baertschi is always injured every year, he's never played over 70 games in one season yet sadly.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Thinking they are overloaded at a certain position cost them dearly at the 2016 draft. They are overloaded at no position and haven’t been for many years

Draft BPA - shouldn’t have to constantly repeat that

Doesn't matter in the pre-UFA years, just filler.
