Re: What grade do you give JB for the 2018 draft
Sorry Hank. I initially should have left it at one post and probably should have started a different thread. I got goaded into another exchange by Doc who lives for this shit.Hank wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 11:24 am Barely a week after another exciting draft where we got some more good prospects added to the cupboard, with development camp starting so we can see where some of they are... Should be such hope and excitement... and the same old diarrhea is flooding this place.
Can't even let real Canuck fans enjoy the moment without shitting, pissing, moaning and being hindsight heroes.
Same old, same old.

Try to enjoy yourself just a wee bit, mang! I might try to head down to Rogers to catch some of the prospect action next week.

What was that old joke...?
A man walks into a psychiatrist's office, wearing nothing, only wrapped up in saran wrap.
Psychiatrist looks up and says to the man, "I can clearly see... you(')r(e) nuts".

Im all good. Probably not a bad idea to ignore some of Abbotsfords nonsense. He manages to drag a lot of threads into the ditchHank wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 11:50 amShit bro, no worriesBlob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 11:46 amSorry Hank. What round pick would you use to pick up an asshole who can do more. I don’t mean score 20 goals but play 4th line and move up when needed.
I was hoping for that in the 2nd round this year but without going a lot of homework not sure anyone was available with that skill set.
I believe Tom Wilson was a 1st round pick.

Re: What grade do you give JB for the 2018 draft
None. Waiver wire fodder or FA signings. The only 4th liners that you've drafted are those where you hoped for more but they couldn't manage it. Obviously that's more likely for rounds 2-7, unless you have our draft history in which case... 1-7?Reefer2 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 2:57 pm What round pick would you use to pick up an asshole who can do more. I’m not sure that is true anymore Bingo, a guy that can an enforcer when needed, play a PK or other roles as needed IMO.BingoTough wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 4:19 pmNone. Every team is looking for this so like drafting for positional needs drafting a AH who can play is better. Look at FA this year and what the rate is for someone like Beagle.
