If by "run for the money" you mean win 1 or 2 games,i totally agreeRichardstroker69 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 12:38 pmI honestly think if markstrom continues his play and we stay healthy we could give Calgary a run for their money in a series, especially if rittich starts to suck. With Pettersson in the lineup a playoff seat is more than a possibility. The kid can carry the team already...if he gets back to where he was they might even win a round

Sounds like the turtle head hasn't quite poked out yet. Solid Poo is going to be hard to flush.Cornuck wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 4:13 pmI've seen a little improvement - he's getting more solid in the back end.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 3:48 pm One thing we all agree on: POO STINKS AND NEEDS TO BE FLUSHED
Still, I'm not expecting much (anything) for a return when he's flushed. He get backed up all the way to Utica.

Are we buyers at the TDL. You know ole Francesco and his love for playoff revenues will be breathing down ole Jimbro’s neck to make moves

What if it were something like Goldie + Poo for Old Man Kronwall?

Kronwall looked pretty damn good against us. I'd do that one. Goldy isnt going to be the difference maker he once looked like and poo is pooStrangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 5:03 pm What if it were something like Goldie + Poo for Old Man Kronwall?

Either way, Doc. The Gillis-Bro's are going to be livid with Benning come 12pm trade deadline day cause ya just know that if the Canucks are pushing for the playoffs still you will not see one iota of a "seller" style trade that will satisfy the Pro-Tank crew. If anything you will see a tinker trade such as you suggest for a playoff push. Brace yourself, it will get ugly in these parts.

Yeah I think Yimmy will try to appease the Aquamen with a low-key trade if we are solidly in a playoff position.RoyalDude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 5:18 pm Either way, Doc. But yeahno, Yimmy and I, like yourself, don't give a crap about what the Tankers "think".
I don't get why pundits aren't talking about pending-UFA Old Man Kronwall.
Detroit will be selling amirite?
At 38, sure he's not the player he once was, but lots of teams wouldn't mind him for a playoff push I would think.
In the summer he could perhaps re-sign with the Dead Things for one more season, if he's up for it, amirite?

The Benning haters all have a certain level of respect for Mike Gillis. It's a weird thing really, but true.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 5:24 pmWhat is a Gillis bro?RoyalDude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 5:18 pm Either way, Doc. I’m not a Benning hater. I wish there was someone to hold his hand through the first 2 1/2 years of his job where he made some stupid moves. That said I have been happy since Jan 2017 when someone in the organization finally yanked their heads out out of their anus and committed to rebuilding the team
