The Habs are delighted over the Drouin trade. Sergachev is playing down on the 3rd pairing, has levelled off considerably
Habs clearly won this trade. I wasn’t much of a Droiun fan but he’s having a good season

Goldobin for Burakovsky?
I think your right. There are a few things that could be considered indicators.
The Caps need cap space for the TD in Feb. This would help that. They are ALL IN for another run.
Goldobin's relationship with Green and his methods, I think< confuse him. (piss him off maybe). Didn't like the reset button.
AND:
Goldobin says Ovechkin is his idol. Got his autograph at a tournament when he was 11. So tonight is a big deal for Goldy. #canucks

Goldobin no doubt has talents. However, he gets knocked off the puck too easily and makes high risk passes that result in turnovers. Burakovsky will provide the size for the Pettersson's line, similar to what Leivo provides but even with more skill. Both players need a change of scenery. I think it should be a 1-for-1 deal with perhaps a 6th rounder throw in.
