They just need to put Roussel on the same line as Pettersson and get rid of either Goldobin or Eriksson

Gagner has 6 points in 5 games with the Marlies (and is -4 to boot). Maybe, with enough injuries in the league, someone decides to make Benning an offer ???

Which part? The "enough injuries" part, or "make Benning an offer" part? I mean, I can always dream the leaves suffer 8-12 injuries among their forwards :D :D

Definition of irony;
The Oilers get soooo many injuries, they pick him up.

Likely happen towards the trade deadline when Gagner's cap hit is more affordable and the team loses some contracts July 1st so they can afford him next season.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Possibly Green should do the same for Pettersson ? We just might have another " Great One "
On our hands.
At the same time Gretzky entered the league the Canucks put together a line of
Fraser, Gradin and Smyl. Gradin was similar in size to Petterson . Fraser was probably the best
fighter on the team with enough skill to score 67 points. Smyl was a 185 pounds of tough power and he, and Gradin were capable of 90+ points.
I would suggest that a line of Virtanen, Pettersson and Gadjovich would do the same if Gadjovich is NHL ready.

Forgot about the big fella 6'2 210lbs Gadjovich, hope he gets more games in Utica as they are stacked with players so he isn't getting in every game yet, only 2 games played.

Boeser seems to be finding his stride. Looks faster and is often the first forward back to defend.
He's actually pretty good at reading plays. Reading plays well saves energy!
If Jake could learn that as well, skies the limit.

Other than the first 2 games, he's a PPG player again.

Who was talking about sending him down to Utica?

low compared to what? I bet if it was compared to other rookies of other teams in their first game of the year, its right on target...

The Canucks must lead the league in blocked shots. It’s a matter of time before another player gets seriously injured. The wins are nice but I see a team that seems to have the puck substantially less than the other team and a team that spends too much time in their own zone.

Maybe they’ll get a bit more aggressive at home.
