I do live on a lake, though it is more of a pond than lake, but not Christina Lake. Too many Calgary Flames with lakefront homes there. This was my view a few weeks ago. May even get some pond hockey in next week.

How is your view of concrete?

I am retiring in a lot smaller city, looking toward a Nanimo or Parksville but will miss some good food from Vancouver. Small remote chance of a new job in Victoria but will live 30 - 45 minutes out of town, where ever that will be. Will not move to the interior for a) wildfires and the climate change  and b) the snow.

Nanaimo = Whalley by the ocean

Go to Bowser, Qualicum, Parksville or even Campbell River or Comox. Nanaimo is a shithole

2006, we had 6" - 8" of snow in town for maybe three weeks. 2008, we didn't get snow in town until Xmas. Last year we had snow from Halloween onward and I had about a foot in my yard, but an 8' berm along the side of the driveway from all the shovelling.

It's now the 1st week of December, no snow in town an the ski hills aren't open yet. Folks are crying CLIMATE CHANGE LOL.

I said it for Top but of course strange with his "love" on all things Reef responded. But facts are facts, the fires are bad and they get more snow in the winter than the lower mainland. Like always he (strange) talks a lot but provide very little substance, he is a lot like non alcohol beer.
