I couldn't care less who smokes weed. But I object to having it come in my open windows. Smokers are so fucking selfish. Maybe I should move to Russia!

Well ok, weed isn't THAT bad.

Are you going to get to see any of Russia outside Moscow?

On the first of my 2 European aviation photography trips I was doing some work in Russia but it was around Moscow.
But that was in 96 and that era was awesome.

Did that 4-5 years ago. A full tour of Russia. This trip just Moscow and St. Petersburg. 3 days each. Then off to the Baltic countries, Poland and the Czech Republic before heading home via Austria. Im on a scouting trip for Benning.

Never been to St Petersburg, but twice to Leningrad... I hear there are a lot of similarities...

Yeah. Trip with the chess club to Petrozavodsk, with a stop in Leningrad, back in uhm 1979 iirc.

Then my wife and I took the transsiberian from Helsinki to Beijing for our honey moon in 1990.
Stops in Leningrad and Moscow, and Beijing of course, then backpacking in China for a month, ferry to Hongkong, then a week of sun and beach in Thailand before heading home.

It's been a while.
Hey want to meet up in Finland?
Lol! That would have been really cool, but I'm afraid I'm very busy the next few weeks. Sorry. Rain check?

Hey, it's a different country, and I'm pretty busy at work, plus have the next three weekends already booked.
It's not like I can just drop everything and catch a flight abroad on a whim.
