He’s a decent AHL player. And it would make sense for Benning to do this. It worked with Pouliot last year. But Utica also had a surplus of forwards last year so moving on from him makes room. Either way, I don’t care.Island Nucklehead wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 11:19 am Some are speculating the Canucks might still offer Gaunce a contract, but didn't want to have to qualify him at 110% ($880,000).
The only HW the Canucks need

Benning seems confident he will be able to fill roster needs via trade. Well more confident about trades being a possibility than in past years.
I hope this doesn’t mean he will go all Chiarelli on us!

Horvat didn't play a single game under Gillis though. Gillis drafted him and was fired 10 months later while Bo was still playing in the CHL.micky107 wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 11:30 amWow, ouch. Not hard to find an upgrade or younger comparable with abit of upside at similar cost to Gaunce.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

So what’s left of The Players Agents 6 years of drafting? Hutton? My gawd, what a disgustingly horrid legacy..

At the expense of the NHL’s top up and coming goalie - Schneider. Shinkaruk was our true 1st pick. We traded Nonis’ prized draft pick for Horvat

I wouldn't mind Gauncer back as a depth guy. I think he can give us the same things as what Schaller does, but play @ league minimum and maybe has a bit more upside. If we get rid of Schaller, Gauncer can easily fill in as a 4th liner or 13th forward.Island Nucklehead wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 11:19 am Some are speculating the Canucks might still offer Gaunce a contract, but didn't want to have to qualify him at 110% ($880,000).
