Horvat will be a ten year vet by the time he plays his next playoff game

He’s a decent AHL player. And it would make sense for Benning to do this. It worked with Pouliot last year. But Utica also had a surplus of forwards last year so moving on from him makes room. Either way, I don’t care.
The only HW the Canucks need

Benning seems confident he will be able to fill roster needs via trade. Well more confident about trades being a possibility than in past years.

I hope this doesn’t mean he will go all Chiarelli on us!

Horvat didn't play a single game under Gillis though. Gillis drafted him and was fired 10 months later while Bo was still playing in the CHL.

Not hard to find an upgrade or younger comparable with abit of upside at similar cost to Gaunce.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

So what’s left of The Players Agents 6 years of drafting? Hutton? My gawd, what a disgustingly horrid legacy..

At the expense of the NHL’s top up and coming goalie - Schneider. Shinkaruk was our true 1st pick. We traded Nonis’ prized draft pick for Horvat

I wouldn't mind Gauncer back as a depth guy. I think he can give us the same things as what Schaller does, but play @ league minimum and maybe has a bit more upside. If we get rid of Schaller, Gauncer can easily fill in as a 4th liner or 13th forward.
