Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019
Tanev may not play again this year, it's up in the air.
Eddy is skating everyday, that's easy.
It's his face that's broken.
Teeth are probably getting better but he'll no doubt have to be wearing some sort of additional safety for his face.
It'll be great to get him back but don't expect the "super Edler" we've been seeing most of this year.

From Canucks;
Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks revealed a new logo last Saturday in honour of their 50th season celebration during a Throwback Night theme game versus the New York Islanders at Rogers Arena. The logo will be used throughout Vancouver's 2019.20 NHL season, which marks the 50th season of the Canucks franchise in the National Hockey League.
About the 50th season logo
Styled in classic Canucks blue, the logo reveals an upright hockey stick and blade outlined in the negative space between the number 50; a modern-take of the elegant stick-in-rink logo first worn in the inaugural season of the franchise. Vancouver's primary logo, the Orca whale, sits below and links eras in Canucks history past and present.
Hey! I didn't write it, just showing it. Hard to imagine it till able to see the finished product. Already don't like the 5---meh.

There are conflicting reports. There was lots of blood. He's skating around, that I've seen. He has a concussion and has not practiced with the team. will get an update from morning skate in Denver if he took the trip.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 4:39 pm

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019
Re the 50th anniversary logo.
Meh. Nothing to celebrate. A big FAT "50" to remind us 50 years and no Stanley Cup.
Imagine back in 1970 if you had told people that there would be championship for the next 50 years. No one would have believed that. But it happened.

Blues 67'
Sabres 70'
Canucks 70' (Game 7 x 2 in Cup finals loss ) - a little lotto luck would be frickin' nice at least to help with this rebuild.
Sharks 91'
Sens 93'
Panthers, Jets, Predators (even with all their awesome drafting/trading), Wild, BlueJackets.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019
Yep - 50 years. And all we have to show for it is another shitty logo.
