I guess you’re disgusted with the game tonight
The only thing disgusting about tonights game Bloberto is the praise Dr. Feel Gud is getting for being the third man in and smoking some guy in the head while the player was tangled up with Virtanen.... the true first responder.
2011..... the one that got away.

EPC, your buddies over at HF - MS, Melvin Butt Gillis, Y2K, Racer Joe, Dim Jim, how are they dealing with their anger over Benning drafting Madden instead of Wise? Speaking of which how are Madden and Wise doing? Are the Benning Hate Crew maintaining in the Pro Tank thread and Management Thread, spreading the feel good vibes? Canafan - top dawg, is he missed?

When did you become Charles Ingalls?

I mean sure 44 is a pretty crappy player but the pair of sucker punches he threw were mint. It’s about time he stepped up physically. He’s too passive and for the money he’s making he should be doing more of this. I’m tired of the Canucks taking the high road all the time. The physical push back was refreshing. Now if you want to get into how poor of a player 44 is, I’m all ears.

We just have to believe in Karma. Someone like Wilson will run Stamko or Kucherov to retirement or someone accidentally shoot the puck at Cooper.

I agree those were beautiful, unfortunately against Tampa that was gonna be the only way he could get involved nobody on that team comes close to being able to handle him in a fight, I like how he skated by the Tampa bench and stared them down.

It's what happens when one gets reprogrammed at HFC.

Trust me Eddy, strangely I love you, give me your hand...

Hey, WTF y'all, the Canucks are a legitimate contender for a playoff position! They're in 9th. So fuck off Sportsnet and so called expert prognosticators who all predicted we would be bottom feeders this year. They're balanced, have some decent goal-tending, are well coached, and there's enough talent to give them promise.

The Leivo pick up was a stroke of... ahem (not going to say it) - good judgement. 😉

Its the best xmas gift u could offer this past prime dude with a penchant for ipa, quality gunja and gals with sexy smiles.

Cheers to all of yas this holiday season

I know hey - I made my in-laws watch the Coilers game after Sunday dinner, and I told them it was a 4-point game and they all looked me like I was John Garrett eating a pot of KD.

The way I look at it - they were great at the start when completely healthy. Now they're healthy-ish, but a lot of players have gotten a lot better already over the course of the season (especially Brock and Pete), Leivo has turned into an upgrade on Baertschi, and Markstrom is back to providing decent-to-good goaltending.

The pessimists will point out how many games in hand everybody has on us, but the optimists will point out that means everyone has tougher schedules in the second half of the season :drink:

Merry Christmas boys, we musta been good this year!

EDIT - double post

Actually, it also snuck up on me that Roussel is putting together a fine year - almost 40-point pace - and Goldy is on a 46-point pace while going up and down the lineup.

Marky has more than provided "decent" goaltending this month.

In 6 games in December, he posted:

1.67 GAA
.942 SV%

Couple more games at this pace he'll get player of the month

As a junior he was showing a lot of talent. I'd rate him right after Henrik Lundquist when it comes to promising Swedish goaltenders. Unfortunately he has never really reached his potential in the NHL. Maybe he is finally arriving?

That'd be really great news for the Canucks!
