I meant Baertchi is inconsistent. Some nights he's on fire and some it doesn't even look like he cares. This is not new,
though he's made improvement since the same conundrum in Cow-Town.
Ya, I know about Brock's slow start, nothing to do with it.

Hurricane Michael could be a bit of a problem.

Canucks considering ways to free log jam in Utica. One way, return Gadjovich to junior.

Cut loose a couple of logs of shit like Wacy Hamilton or Carter Bancks. Sending Gadjovich back to junior would be asinine. Too many veterans on Utica.

Brock looks like dogshit at the present time. Sophomore jinx?

We should hit the jackpot no problem next draft.

He looks fat and slow if I'm being honest. I've always kind of despised that arrogant little fucker Takahashi. The Canucks "Human Performance Team" appears to be shitting the bed. Too much left coast functional fitness and not enough praying a the temple of iron. Just my opinion.

Also did you all see #40 running the miter saw to trim his own stick? No offence to our new phenom, he is an adult and can make his own decisions, but how would it look if our future franchise player lops off a finger because a Sportsnet camera person distracts him? I saw that clip and thought "What the actual fuck?".

I think the problem with Boeser is that he has never had to worry about starting a season at any other level he’s played. Just showed up and was ready to dominate. He’s never had to learn that at off season in cottage country then a month of D’Beauty league isn’t off season preparation. The Jake syndrome.

No doubt he tries. No doubt he works once the season starts. But he’s coasted two training camps in a row. Was benched for the first two games due to lack of conditioning and has had a slow start this season. He is not blessed with NHL speed. He is going to have to work at it, like Bo did.

Honestly why not send him to Utica when Rousell is ready. Green wanted to do it last year to send a message but was overturned by Benning. The fans needed something to be excited about. And to his credit he found that gear and provided it. But tough love has to come early to some players.

I love what Boeser can bring to this team but he needs to learn what it is he needs to do to stay and thrive in this league. Everything I’ve read about him suggests he is a willing learner. He needs to be taught what to do off ice. When he shows up to camp without a neck and looking juiced that tells me he’s not doing the right things.

I think there's a couple issues going on with Brock.

He's not in NHL shape, likely in part to his injury suffered last season. The other is he's definitely nursing something right now, he has tape wrapped around his right hand/wrist. So a combination of being unable to shoot like he knows he can and being a tad out of shape leads to lack of confidence very quick.

As long as he isn't making things worse by playing he just needs to work hard, if he needs a quick stint in the AHL send him now to work out more. He'll be fine. Playing in the NHL is a little different than that pond hockey league we saw highlights of him playing in over the summer.

It's over a month old and maybe a slight melodramatic, not to mention lengthy, but it "IS" notable.
http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/2459 ... er-canucks

Still; A very bad idea to demote to minors. In fact, ridiculously bad.
It isn't at the point where playing with scrubs and wannabees and maybe laters and kids that can't get in because of too many scrubs on the parent team.
But then again, I do not trust GREEN"S misguided "iron", LOL, fist.
