Is this not what they've been doing all along?
He's traded away:
2 top-4D (Bieksa and Garrison)
Selke-winner center Kesler
Burrows
Hansen
and the team's second leading scorer this year, Vanek

So nope, he's been stealth-tanking for 4 years.

Without the Sedins, I really don't know what next year will bring - continued improvement (which will still be dependent on getting injury luck) or a big swan-dive back into the tank. If it turns out to be another tank year, I reckon it'll be the last one in this re-build.

You need some self discovery
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

SKYO wrote: Sun Apr 29, 2018 7:03 pm As for Tkachuk vs Juolevi pick, I don't see the Flames ripping it up, and Juolevi is coming onto the team exactly when the Canucks need a influx of quality dmen prospects.
The Flames poor season has little to do with Tkachuk. It was a mistake. I think Elmer would admit that..Either way Olaf needs to develop and be a top 4 guy at minimum. If he isn’t on the big club by mid season next year I’ll be a bit concerned.
The Flames season got noticeably worse with the acquisition of “stud” D-man - Hamonic. Why is that? The best defence in the world!!! Mike Smith, yet they stunk worst. How come
Who said they had the best defence in the world?
I think the Dude might be referring to things like...

Blob Mckenzie wrote: Sun Aug 26, 2012 7:27 pm Hamonic will be a stud.
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Sat Jun 24, 2017 8:09 am Hamonic is definitely a solid defenceman. That is a hell of a top 4 in Calgary
I mean if I had to guess...

I never said it was the best. That Hamonic comment is three or four years old. I’ve been pretty bullish on the Preds D and Tampa’s

Bub loves the two - 1st round picks and four - 2nd round picks given up for Hamilton and Hamonic and the 3rd round pick plus prospects given up for old man sieve - Mike Smith.

I don’t mind the Hamilton trade but I’m sure if Uncle Doc archives for you I said it was a steep price to pay for Hamonic.
