TYLER Myers born and raised in America. He’s Team Canada’s version of Adam Deadmarsh.

Myers grew up in Calgary and played his hockey in Canada, much like Stastny was born in Canada but grew up and played his hockey in the US.

While we’re at this wanna tell me how many Canadians are on the Vegas roster?

Dave Lowry owned a house down the block from us between 1990-2000 where he used to spend his off season while playing for St Louis, Florida and San Jose. Adam spent about a nano second in St Louis. When dad Lowry went to Calgary they sold the house and Adam at seven years old ended up playing almost all of his minor hockey in Calgary.

So knock off another supposed Yank off the Jets' roster.

Couldn't have said it better myself. If a Canadian team has to win the Cup before Vancouver, I'd rather it was Winnipeg.

Americans galore! Trust me.

This isn't a shocking prediction, they do have 10x the population Canada does.

With the addition of new markets hockey is just going to continue to grow and then it's only a matter of time. It will never hit the popularity of football or baseball but I could see a far more even split of Americans and Canadians very soon in the NHL.

1) There are already more foreign nationals than Canadians playing in the NHL
2) Russia has the most penalties per player.
3) Russia also has the most goals per layer @ 10.9 gpp
4) Swedes, Finns are nxt @ 7.5 goas per player.

Proving not much we didn't know. At strong physical games the Russians excel.
