More of the standard usual cold hard facts from Buck McKenzie
I’m not going indulge all your little minions. The whole thing was a clusterfuck. He should have been approached far sooner while he was on IR about moving on. Elmer and Trevor dithered and waited until less than a week before the deadline before they even contemplated a trade. I don’t think anyone (management, Hamhuis or the fan base) was real thrilled about the ensuing dog and pony show. I’d be real surprised to see him sign here. Scary thing is he would be the 3rd best defenceman on this current team.
Who cares if they waited til then, once hamhuis gave them his list it wouldn’t have mattered if it was 3 weeks earlier, I also believe there was a done deal with Dallas that ownership meddled in. “Extra” time wouldn’t have changed the outcome. But keep on shitting.

Lol why’s that? They bent over backwards for him.
I'm sure Hamhuis is really choked that he didn't get traded at the deadline for a 5th round pick...as he was heading into free agency trying to maximize his value...
Well that’s more on hamhuis isn’t it? A 2 team list doesn’t give a lot of options. Unless I’m missing sarcasm here.
Sorry, I forgot the :P - yes I was being sarcastic!

Based solely on watching him play recently, or are you privy to other information? Jake just strikes me as a high-maintenance kind of guy, someone you need to dedicate a lot of time and supervision to in order to ensure they stay effective on the ice. I think Kane is the same kind of player, and making a questionable personality like him the highest-paid/profile player on the team just screams bad idea.

I'd much rather bring in someone that is married, a couple kids, looking to embrace the role of elder statesman. Usually I'd say avoid those type of players in Free Agency, but in this case I'd be all for a Patrick Marleau-type (maybe without the third year).

Agreed Rats, hope he turned the corner.

I would be happy with time on 3rd line, moving up to 2nd when needed and getting 15-20 goals.

Not true about Kane, he's extremely self-motivated... a dedicated athlete.

Very coach-able too...

Have they taught him how to use a washing machine?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

No. He still does his laundry in the shower.
