Wheeler is the Captain now, Byfuglien is still a leader, and the Jets are one of the better teams in the league.
Byfuglien has been the leader there for 8 years, and they've never won a single playoff game until Wednesday.
I would argue that fat bastard has been part of the problem, the solution has been Laine and Schiefele and Ehlers.

Who gives a shit about (cup-winner) Byfuglien? You're advocating signing E.Kane, who didn't exactly propel the Sabres to new heights. He just played his first playoff game (like the Jets, he did very well).ESQ wrote: ↑Fri Apr 13, 2018 8:40 pmI don't pretend that what I say when it comes to locker room dynamics has any weight, I speak only as the victim of bs cliques, but:Island Nucklehead wrote: ↑Fri Apr 13, 2018 4:50 pm

He did not help either of his former teams improve when both were in the basement, and you think he'd be a good add to this cellar-dwellar? Why?
I suspect he'll have no interest in coming here unless it was for obscene dollars, but I'm sure Doc will defend whatever contract we give him as "tradable 3-5 years from now". I'd rather just avoid the debacle altogether.

I dunno abt dat, I hear Buffy has been a beast so far in the playoffs this year. This is the time of the year when guys like him just thrives. Remember what Big Buff did to Lou back in the day when he was a forward?

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Booze, "dude" is your alias. Come clean, you have the exact same tights

Do you only wear that sort of gear when you are riding or do you wear it to coffee shops, pubs, restaurants or bar mitzvahs etc ?

Listen Booze, your still drunk from last nights hootin' and hollerin down at Roosters Country Cabaret downtown Pitt Meadows. You wore the E Kane tights there last night rubbin up close in tight quarters with other dudes while line dancing in your chaps to achy breaky heart

Jack Eichel also hasn't propelled the Sabres to new heights (in year 7 of their rebuild), but I'd still take himb on my teamIsland Nucklehead wrote: ↑Fri Apr 13, 2018 8:59 pm You're advocating signing E.Kane, who didn't exactly propel the Sabres to new heights. I wouldn't take Byfuglien (Cup-winner, and 7-year playoff drought as well), but I would take Patrick Laine.
I see E Kane as a complimentary piece, not a cornerstone, but I also see him as potentially a guy who'll bleed blue and green playing for his hometown team, which I definitely want more of on this team.

Re: 2018 Offseason
Yeah I wouldn’t take Byfuglien either. That money could be spent better on guys like Loui Eriksson
