I think Topper may be mocking the OP for treating this as a White Elephant Sale.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that Syko doesn't have trade proposals!

That was clever - and actually the 2nd reason why we're worried about you... (or if your account was hacked).

Re: Elephant in the Room - Trade the Sedins
If, and I know they won’t, be traded. The Nucks could get a good haul if they cover 50% of their salary in a trade. Getting of them for a $7M cap hit but actually only paying $1-$2M each would help a lot of teams in the playoffs.
Now of course is finding a dance partner and how to cover the cap hit.
Options are taking a bad contract back.
Of course thus is all mute since they won’t be going anywhere and they have the right to stay here.

Yet another dust bunny
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Mute or moot, it’s a conversation worth having. Especially on a Canucks message board - everyone here has gone soft. Trading Trevor Linden sucked too. It got us the Sedins. If you could get a first round pick for 2 months of the Sedins being traded would you not do it? Would you add a Brock Boeser for “tarnishing the Sedins legacy”? Don’t tell me no one would trade a 1st round pick, answer whether you would trade the Sedins at THIS deadline for a Brock Boeser.

Re: Elephant in the Room - Trade the Sedins
Canucks could only retain on ONE Sedin as a team can only retain on 3 per year (now retaining on Luongo and Hansen)
This has been mentioned quite a few times in this forum...
Oh okay then, please don't feel that you've wasted anyone's time...

Interesting points. Man, it's too bad Arthur Griffiths didn't get into the real estate/condo business to help finance his sports empire. His fortunes would be completely different now.Hank wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2018 11:17 pm Francesco's "toy", this team & its goodwill have helped his family run their "real" business and made them even wealthier than before. Do you know their many projects, businesses and holdings? Have you seen the development around Roger's since his purchase of the team?

This is all just a bunch of people coming up with whatifs.
Give it a break once in a while, you do not have to always try to have the last word.
