He is Top 4 if you remove all the games in which each Dman left with an injury. (fair nuff no?)Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Apr 01, 2018 5:16 pmStill isn’t top 4 in minutes on this tire fire!!! LOLStrangelove wrote: ↑Sun Apr 01, 2018 5:05 pmHe's been Top 4 on two NHL teams thus far in his career.
And he's played on... let's see... two NHL teams.
First you'd know you're wrong if were to you read my linked post. (or did you?)
Second you play games about "10 seconds" knowing full well Guds was top 4 this season if one plays games with '15 seconds'.
(if one didn't want to remove "all the games in which each Dman left with an injury" I mean)
It's all just games to you, you don't care about the truth...
Yes because you say so.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Apr 01, 2018 5:16 pm Wouldn’t PLAY IN ANY teams top 4 and likely wouldn’t even make a few teams
Read and understand:
Talking to you is like talking to that brick wall Todd is currently banging his head against...Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 2:37 pm The year he missed half the season with that wrist injury he was Top 4 in icetime (tied with Tanev at 20:20 MPG).
He was also Top 4 in icetime the season before that in Florida, where he faced the toughest icetime on the team.
(defensive zone starts + playing versus the toughest competition)
BTW he had the highest icetime on the team in the playoffs that year, and 12th highest average icetime in the league.
So far this year he is 5th on the team in average icetime but there are reasons for that.
With only 30 games played, leaving games early after injury/suspension affects those numbers more than you'd think.
(left one game after just 1:15 minutes played, another after 9:46)
(also, as often happens, he was eased back in upon return after injuries = low minutes for 7 games or so)
In the past 7 games he's finally back up to averaging the 20+ minutes per game he averaged the previous 2 seasons.

*sigh*
2015-16… Florida… regular season… 20:06 per gm = 4th in icetime.
2015-16… Florida… playoffs… 26:54 per gm = 1st in icetime.
2016-17… Vancouver… regular season… 20:20 per gm = tied for 3rd in icetime.
2017-18 Vancouver.. regular season… Remove games on Oct 19th (1:15 played) and Nov 22nd (9:46 played)
… average icetime on the season is now 19:05 per game = 4th in icetime.
Like I said he has been a Top 4 Dman on the two teams which he has played.
(go ahead and remove that 2017-18 season from the list if you like, the point still stands)
Now go home you're drunk!

There's still the caveat regarding those teams.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sun Apr 01, 2018 6:45 pm *sigh*

Florida and Vancouver both have weaker bluelines. The Canucks might be the worst.
It would be interesting to see where he landed in TOI on a team like Nashville.
I think on most teams he would be easily top 4 in minutes come playoffs though.

I already said he was top 4 in ice time for one season in Florida. Sorry but you don’t get to remove games in which he got hurt. He’s a bottom pairing d man forced into a top 4 because the defence is the leagues least talented, shittiest group.
