Dreger is the worst.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Too much for a head case right now. Next year, however, if an extension can be negotiated as part of the trade, I'd conciser it. Right now, Duchene could be 2 years and done, as he will be a UFA. I'd hate for the "ne" in Duchene to be silent.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

Haven't even seen much of Hutton this year. There won't be time to evaluate.
Be glad to say ta-ta to Sutter.
In the first couple of days of camp, Hutton didn't look in all that great of shape, but :?:
He was only given a 2 year contract,(Bridge).
This is not impossible, but risky and again, very little time, hours maybe.
So I'm undecided.
If it's Tanev, forget it.

Nope. Not worth it. Duchene is a cancer in the room and not a guy I'd like to see here if that is actually the case. Also, he's older than the future core by a bit so pass. If we're dealing those assets then the return needs to be a picks and/or a guy 19-21 I'd say.

Yeah probably not happening for Duch.

One guy who is not signed yet is Josh Anderson. http://forecaster.thehockeynews.com/player/9282

Some CBJ fans on hf said they could use a young center prospect.
Gaudette + for the young big winger?

Rick Dhaliwal: "Hearing possible Troy Brouwer trade out of Calgary. Not confirmed, just something heard."

Would be a smart move for the Flames.

WOW that is a terrible contract. Can't see that getting moved without Flames retaining.

But that blueline....
BoS got me thinking though, if you want to improve the defense for the future, one might look at the for the millionth time of Tanev to Toronto by next deadline for none other than Timothy Liljegren, a future QB, develop him for the future to play with Juolevi.

leaves got a window now while their big 3 are on super cheap contracts.

And yes everyone knows Reilly and Tanev form a super top pairing.

Along with Galchenyuk and Duchene, Sam Reinhart name might be in the new trade rumours.
“Over the weekend, I started to hear the name Sam Reinhart,” began NHL Insider Friedman during a Monday appearance on NHL Network. “And I think a lot of people were talking about that because Sam Reinhart was kind of demoted in the lineup and he had gotten off to a really rough start. It wasn’t all his fault. As you said, a lot of the team was getting off to a rough start. But his name started to come around there.

“And when I looked into it, I think the thing they feel and the thing you kind of mentioned is it’s a new regime in Buffalo. You don’t want to make snap decisions that you’re going to regret later. I think that they feel that five games into a season you’re not necessarily going to do something simply because you feel the need to do it.

“Now, could I see a situation where Reinhart becomes available later in the year? Maybe. But I think that the Sabres are kind of looking at it right now as, ‘This is too soon. We still have some work to do to really discover what we’ve got here.’

“But I wouldn’t be surprised if his name starts popping up maybe later in the year if things don’t solidify.”

Reinhart has one goal and is without an assist through his first six starts.

The forward is coming off a 47-point campaign in 2016-17.

Penguins trying hard to get another Bonino/3rd liner center asap.

But of course when your team just won the Stanley Cup they won't find many teams trying to help them unless it's slight overpayment.

They are probably are after RedWings Riley Sheahan, but probably only want to pay pocket change for him, while the wings wanting to sign AA & need to clear cap space, they still won't just give Sheahan to the Pens.
