When Burrows was on their line it was Hank + Dank + Bank. I just kept calling him Dank.

Tartar is pretty dirty. He intentionally stomped on Backstrom's stick in the second period and then held onto Forsberg's stick right before the winning goal.micky107 wrote:Just in! OUR FOUR BOYS from Sweden are COMMIN HOME!!!!!

Yeah, holding another guys stick is such a dirty play.
Re: How could the World Cup of Hockey effect the Canucks
You must be proud of him stomping on Backstrom's stick. I suppose holding the stick is just part of the play as long as the zebras can't see or don't care.5thhorseman wrote:Yeah, holding another guys stick is such a dirty play.

In a way, I'm just glad the Swedes are returning healthy.
A grueling three game series with Canada, well, you know what I mean.
BUT, now there's Hansen & Sbisa.
The two most talked about players in trade scenarios.
Can't make deals if the product is broken..

Probably a sign for Canuck fans, Sedins-Eriksson starts off the tournament hot, but disappears in the big games.

No, it's not part of the play but it would fall into a broader category of cheating. Dirty plays are like what Marchand did to Salo.Jovocop wrote:You must be proud of him stomping on Backstrom's stick. They haven't been good defeinsively for at least 5 years... FFS they were on for all 4 goals against in 2011 7th game .. Stanley cup final ...Hockey Widow wrote:I think we've all seen how bad the Sedins can be 3-3. I think we have also seen that Dank isn't really that reliable on breakaways. I think we all know they have lost a step or two and their defensive game has slipped a bit as a result.

Why you need 3 scoring lines, so one line doesn't have to be overworked and consequently get burned after while.Tiger wrote:They haven't been good defeinsively for at least 5 years... Sedins - Eriksson
Baertschi - Horvat - Hansen
Rodin - Sutter - Granlund
Granlund had some chemistry with Baertschi and Rodin, so I'd move Granlund up maybe even moving Sutter to the wing if Granlund's faceoff's get better, if not, Grans to the wing, Rodin/Grans could swap.
Then the big energy line of Dorsett - Gaunce - Virtanen/Burrows.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
Re: How could the World Cup of Hockey effect the Canucks
Rodin has to pick it up a bit. Not quite there yet. A step behind.
Still time, it's more a mental catch-up then a physical one..

Rodin's surprisingly been pretty good, even getting into traffic area's, driving to the net, el perfecto depth scorer.
