I think it's pretty simple for Tryamkin to come back.

I think Gold's days are numbererd though. Hopefully Podkolzin will be his new bud. :P

Trymankin wants to return
He does?
Ya know Blob, just enjoy the fact that you don’t have to pee in a bag or where depends just yet. Just be happy your self dignity still stands instead of being a gloomy dickman all the time
You are a much older man than I
No I’m not!

I’m 53, you’re what? 49?

I may be older but while your on the wagon being a lame-o on the couch I’m in Portland getting gunned on local micro beers and Canabis. You suck now. Your wife is probably fantasizing about debonair party throwers like me right now while you sit on the couch eating corn chips
Yes she has a thing for mid 50s Dudes that wear spandex and wife beaters topped off with a grey skullet.

OHLInsiders
The Barrie #Colts have received word that Latvian G Arturs Silovs will be playing with them this season. Nothing yet done formally however.
He will arrive after Canucks camp.

Damn! I was hoping to see him play with Dinamo Riga. Oh well. Gotta wait until SKA St. Petersburg comes to town.

TONI UTUNEN
Via Elite Prospects:

The Vancouver Canucks got a steal in 2018 5th-Round pick Toni Utunen.

He's just starting to show his offensive ability, @sportsology argues.

It's on EP Rinkside by Russ Cohen, and well worth the read on the Finnish blue liner.

https://www.eprinkside.com/2019/08/30/c ... sive-stuff

I project him to be either a second or third-pairing defenseman with an excellent chance of not only playing in the NHL but staying there for a good length of time. He’s playing with some great players on the national team and he looks every bit as good as them. He can cover top competition and so far he hasn’t missed a beat. He’s 176 pounds currently so he’ll have to put on some more muscle and add a bit more speed. All of these things are possible and someday soon he should be able to reach his full potential and if that happens — it’s a steal of a pick.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I’m not sure Juolevi’s knee will be 100% ready for training camp but I don’t think it’s far off. Juolevi is back in town after skating most of August in Finland with NHL players. A healthy season will be good for his development.

It might be the whisky talking but I feel like Olli Juolevi is going to have a juicy season.

Lots of interesting things to see this camp. I bet the stands are packed.
I think almost all the preseason games are on tv too.

Its an exciting time to be a Canuk fan, yoodles. Apparently Podkozlin was lights out amazing at the recent 4 Nations. And this tidbit coming from ultra Benning Hater JD Burke. Jim is stealing the show at the draft now, all the other GMs are watching Jim’s every move now - “follow him wherever he goes! Don’t lose site of him! We need to know his secrets!”

Kinda like Sean Connery in Medicine Man. Or maybe George Carlin. He wears skinny jeans for the bird legs and needs the elastic waist for the big shitbag.
