@DhaliwalSports
Russian assistant coach Igor Larionov will be on Sekeres & Price today on TSN1040 from Russia.

Larionov on Vasily Podkolzin : "He is a power forward who gives 100%, a hard worker, he reminds me of a young Mark Messier.

He has bright future and is great prospect for Vancouver."

If you don't get a single thing back, it's still addition by subtraction.
Come on, Hank. The team has looked lost since Leivo went down.

There’s going to be some folks that are angry if Sutter gets dealt.,

Just checking are we done with Benning bashing ag the corner?
Just wondering because now that we have the luxury of moving on from Sutter, Leivo et al and a third wave of skilled rookies in the pipeline

Isn’t it time to bury the anti lord Benning sedition?

You’re confusing bashing with people who try to calm the licking down. The lickers sometimes get out of control. Benning has done a solid job for almost three years now. He was deservedly smacked with a pipe for some of the dumb dumb moves that were made at the beginning of his tenure. As the team is now I don’t think too many people here are angry at him. That said it will be interesting to see them tap dance around the cap this summer.

Hmmm... methinks UW is trolling me hard over my obvious Travis-like devotion to Josh Leivo...

It's okay big guy, no one remembers all the times you rightfully blasted Elmer for some his egregious errors.

nothing to tap dance about. You let Schaller, Lievo and perhaps Stetcher walk, you can afford everyone.
notabigdeal

Why do people confuse "cap teams" (canucks) with "cap hell" (Leaves)

Break it all down for me. You bringing back Markstrom, Tanev, Virtanen and Gaudette with raises and including the Pettersson and Quinton’s bonuses..It ain’t as easy as you think especially making sure the team doesn’t take a couple steps backward. I’m not saying it’s impossible but it’s not like tiddly winks either.

Nobody really confused anything here

FFS Blob, they unload the Loui, Sutter, and Baer contracts and they have an embarrassing amount of cap space.

Happens all the time, last year the Leaves dumped the Marleau contract for eg., this isn't rocket science...

One-eyed Rafferty with a nice spin-a-rama goal, looking like a young PK Subban. (starts around :15 mark)

Rafferty is looking like a Genius signing by Benning
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
