I had a peek over at how Brackett selected for Minny last draft and I reckon they did well. They traded up 2 spots for the Swedish goalie Wallstedt and also picked Carson Lambos with their later first rounder.

Lambos is a pretty safe stay at home pick but Jesper Wallstedt could end up a franchise level tender.

Lambos is solid, miles better than Brandt Clarke of the Rob Blake Kings. Clarke will struggle making it in the NHL if he ever does

Rathbone was stretchered off the ice last game. Got hit into the boards. Word he is has been released from hospital and all is ok other than monitoring for a concussion.

I think it means a ton…. Any injury at all he’d go home.. not sure if he’ll play next game but I don’t think he is any more than banged up

lol blob.

Rathbonez makes his triumphant return!
Jack Rathbone made his return to the lineup yesterday and extended his point streak.

The return of Abbotsford Canucks defenceman Jack Rathbone was one of the most anticipated ones of the season.

Rathbone, who was a high-touted prospect coming out of the NCAA’s Harvard University, was selected with the No. 95th-overall pick by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL entry draft.

He had 14 goals and 39 assists in 61 games through his two seasons at Harvard University.

Now in 2021-22, Rathbone is having a remarkable breakout season with Abbotsford and has proven to be who many would consider the team’s best offensive defenceman.
