Can he skate yet?
His skating is fine. Problem is he’s 5ft 11 and 155 with tiny soft shoulders. Hopefully he can eat a few of Doc’s extra greasy burgers and fatten up a bit.
He’s a ridiculous skater, one of the fastest players in college hockey and he will be the same in the NHL. He is injury prone and plays a very hard nosed game which isn’t great at his size - hopefully he can stay healthy.

I’m not sure he will score much but he could be a perfect 3rd or 4th liner.

He’s already said he’s signing after the season so I’m not worried.

Hard to tell--I say, probably...
He said he would sign after the season when he was at prospect camp last week - he was happy with how the Canucks had stuck with him through the injuries and he felt obligated to sign with them.

Unless Jimbo plays contract hardball after Lockwood's season is over I'm highly confident he'll sign.
