2016 Playoffs Round Two

Post by Hockey Widow »

East

Tampa vs NYI

If Griess stays hot, NYI in 6.

Washington vs Pittsburgh

This is the year of Ovechkin. Caps in 6

West

Dallas vs St. Louis

No way Calgary gets that extra 1st. Besides I don't like Dallas goaltending. Will Seguin be back? Blues in 6.

SJS vs. ????

We'll know Wednesday.

Late to this one, but

NYI in 6: No Stamkos = no conference finals
Washington in 7: This is Washington's year

Nashville in 6: The games will be close, but Nashville is deeper IMHO
St Louis in 5: They've slain their dragon; they're going to the conference finals at least
Love the Sport. Love the Team.

Hate the League.

Islanders in 6 and Yzerman throws money at Stamkos after seeing what a franchise centre like Tavares does for a team.

Penguins in 7 just because that's the way it has always been between Crosby and Ovechkin.

Blues in 4 now that they've exorcised their playoff demons they will steamroll.

Sharks in 6 just because.

Didn't think I could enjoy playoff hockey, then I watched CAPS - PENS at the bar today....

That's going to be the best series by far, predicting the winner will go all the way especially with LA, CHI and ANA all knocked out in the West.

And, not only was it a good game, it ended with them actually getting a review right without hard feelings and without making the whole night look bad..........

In this case though, you kinda gotta love it when you're wrong and Kes is at the golf course :mex:

Kudos to the many on this Esteemed Board who picked St Louis to advance to the 2nd round!

By my count, Madcombinepilot and HW were 6 for 8, IN and Micky were an astounding 7 for 8, and TDA Rum was the only person to get the West right, missed out on NYI vs FLA to finish 7 for 8 as well.

Had I picked, I would have had Chicago, LA and Anaheim all advancing, so cheers to you and your brilliant hockey minds! :drink: :drink:
