But the Benning is a genius and the Elmer nut licking in every thread isn't annoying at all.

It has taken Tanev 6 season to get where he is (#2 at best). Ok, #1 defensively, a four way tie for #2-#5 offensively.

Horvat was shoe horned onto the team last season.

Well Miller was still #1 and tutoring an emerging Markstrom through the season.....I guess trading away Lack was the correct move by Benning.......butt look into to your crystal ball and see Thatcher Demko.

Hutton was able to develop his game with STALWART Luca Sbisa as his partner. Hutton's game dropped off when Sbisa suffered his early season injury.

Short sighted has been Blobs issue all year, Even now, he's looking behind himself.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Very odd comments, especially the doesn't try criticism...

Take care..
Yeah you can't knock Sbisa for his effort. He is just a poor player. I agree a guy like him shouldnt be a main issue. If he is in your top five defencemen though , the team obviously has no depth at the postion. Sbisa as a top 5 would be great if we had Doughty, Weber, Subban and Keith ahead of him on the depth chart.

hah but those are done funny at least, and well from facebook/twitter/hf/reddit/insta/other message boards/radio, the haters are loud and everywhere.

The JB fans are quiet for the most part, as it's hard to defend in a rebuild, but the logical folks can see the light at the end of the tunnel, with piling up prospects for the immediate and long term future.

I was mad at no trades for hamhuis/vrbata at the TDD, but shit man, I at least try to understand the reasoning behind it, and why it was hard to do.

Plus I don't see the harm in having Miller here - yes 6M per, but it's a transition to help develop Markstrom, and hey whats one thing we don't have to worry about the past years? goaltending -- all us canucks fans talk about is fixing up the forwards, whose going to replace the Sedins, whose going to be the secondary scoring, but goaltending is our rock ever since Lu got here, one less thing to worry about.

Sbisa I don't like much, but the only bright side (what else is there to say) at least he can hit! And isn't a little bitch like weber/bartkowski.

Dorsett is the warrior that could, overpaid yes, but at least homie can kill penalties, gets shots on net, and is a relentless checker, injured or not, dude gives 100% every game, knows what it takes to get the Cup final.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I can see light at the end of the tunnel Skyo. I got me a big ass torch chasing Igntowski and Linden.

I am all good with getting younger. I just see some of the moves as needless and really they painted themselves into a corner at the deadline and there really is no defending it .And it would be nice if were "stockpiling" picks and prospects. They have a few, but more would certainly be better.

With a good summer and draft Iggy can work his way back up to a 5.5 or maybe , just maybe , a 6/10.That will take a few astute moves on his part and a bit of a shift in thinking.

Virtanen , Trymakin and McCann were all shoehorned on to the team. I like the look of all three guys but none of them contributed much this season, not like Markstrom, Horvat, Hutton and Tanev who were four of the teams best players . Get your fucking head out of the dudes ass.
it's all blabbering on benning sucks at this, sucks at that, gillis players rocks, but I got hope for these guys.

Jesus christ, you're like a fucking whiny asshole that just loves to hate, holy shit bruh.
No kidding, guy licks EX(and unemployed)gmmg balls for a living and mistakes posters for each other all the time....because he cant tell the difference when a #1 D is paid more than a #2 D on his team and licks cats anus's that have more hockey IQ than this whiney little bitch...

What was Markstrom when Gillis acquired him?

He was one of the most tragically-awful goalies I've ever seen. I can't believe how bad he was every time they tried to get him into an NHL game.

What kind of goalie would Markstrom be today without Miller playing in front of him? Thankfully we'll never have to find out.

Miller will probably wind up in the top-10 for career wins. Markstrom might one day be a starting goalie in the NHL.

Even if we accept that "Markstrom is the teams best goalie", can you not admit that having a legit starting goalie in front of Markstrom helped his development? Can you not then maybe see that Benning might just have a clue about hockey?

Great story Rats. 1 on 1, I would have had my money on a cougar.

Dorsett can play on my team any day.

Sbisa, effort? I don't think so.
He has a ton of talent and a nasty streak when he decides to use them, which at best, is every few games.
I don't call that effort, in fact, it's guys like him that piss me off the most. At least try to bring the "A" game a wee bit more often, at that point your a decent example and an asset. If not, pull the f--king ejection handle

Catching up on the weekend posts and all I've learned is that if guys in rocky bromances start to seek help, Rats has got a career in couples therapy if he wants it.

Wow! I thought in this new age of political correctness you might be a little bit more sensitive to whose feelings you might hurt. Men vs women, ex brides of MG, IQ vs vaginas.

Enough is enough already. Take your limp dick and go play in a corner for awhile.

Vey for a 2nd
Baertchi for a 2nd?
Etem for Schroeder?
Larsen for a 4th (5th, but goes to a 4th if he hits certain goals)
Stecher for nothing?
Rodin for nothing
Granlund for Shinkaruk?
Demko signing
Tryamkin signing?
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!
